I did notice that the other day. It doesn't look promising to me. Is Live Nation the same? I think they're affiliated with Ticketmaster. As if the surcharges weren't enough, now they'll sell tickets marked up PLUS the surcharges. Where do we go to buy tickets at a decent price now?

I hear ya guys. It's fucking retarded. I noticed this quite a while ago. I watched a show on like Dateline or 20/20 or something about it and it's a total fucking scam. They have professionals who are able to use a software that enables them to make up to 100 000 tickets request in a single day for various shows and events. That's absolutely unheard of for the average ticket buyer. These professionals buy the tickets and then sell the on Ticketmaster's Ticketsnow. It's horseshit. Too bad more artists didn't suport Pearl Jam in the mid 90's when they tried going head to head with Ticketbastard

I fucking hate Ticketmaster. I hear 'ya bro.
It's fucking monopoly from the word go. I try to get baseball tix every year, usually Marlins/Cubs (last year it was Rays/Cubs in interleague), and ONE fucking ticket is like a $7 convience charge.
What fucking convience? To buy two tickets, is costing me $14 bucks for fucking nothing. I'm buying them off the goddamn internet.
It's a freakin' racket i've been convinced for years is ran by Pauley fuckin' Walnuts.

I know man. I think my GN'R tix in 2006, were an additional $20 bucks in fees, thanks to FuckUMaster.
Really the only way to completely avoid it, is to buy them directly from the venue, but when you live 2-hours or more away from the venue, it makes that kind of difficult.
Now Ticketmaster is circumventing that, buy creating pre-sale exclusives to where the venue can't sell certain tix, which FORCES you, if you want good seats, to buy them directly from TM, before the good seats run out, and they hold the venue back a few days from being able to put the tix on sale. This happened to me in 2006 with the GN'R shows.

They're just making excuses to charge you. Oh, and will call, I haven't ever, nor will I ever - do that.
Everytime I go to a venue, the line for will call, is about 8 miles long. In those situations, i'd actually pay the extra fees, not to stand in line.
