Bought the "5 Guys Walk Into a Bar..." box set a couple months ago. The huge effect this band had on rock and roll is just so understated.

I actually don't really like Zep (more specifically I don't like Plant), so I think that's fantastic.

I'd be more happy with the history of Rock if it had just been the Yardbirds that took the place that Zep ended up with, and Zep had never happened.

And yes, I do realize I'm one of VERY few people who feel that way.

Beck has always had a chip on his shoulder because Page took his gig. Beck and Stewart really did it before Plant and Page. In any case, can you imagine how good rock and roll was in England from 66-72. Wow.

While I have always been a big Rod Stewart fan, I never really dove into the Faces discography.

Maybe that's what I'll download next....

I haven't either....I am going to get the Best of the Faces. It has a good amount of songs. Those boys didn't mind throwing back a few pints.
