such a great fucking movie
Agreed, one of the best films I saw in 08. Good to see it get at least some sort of recognition.
Re: Golden Globes 2009
Fortunatley I didn't see the whole thing, but it was pretty bad overall. All these "celebrities" need a dose of reality.
Yeah, and his name is Mickey Rourke.
I'd puked if I saw Sean Penn win best actor. That dude is such a smug asshole, it's amazing. I'm sure we'd gotten some long-winded acceptance speech about how he'd love to go balls deep with Obama.

I hope Rourke wins the Oscar. He was fucking amazing. The Wrestler is the best movie of 2008. Not my favorite...that would be TDK. But The Wrestler is definitely the best of the year.
Glad to see Heath won Supporting Actor, although the Globes are pretty fucking irrelevant at this point in time. Ledger's been winning all the other awards too so I think he'll win the Oscar as well. But the Globes are so stupid. Fuckers have been busted taking bribes in the past (Sharon Stone got busted bribing a bunch of the voters by giving them fancy watches).
