I liked much of his music until after Emancipation, after that album there hasn't been much worth listening to outside of his AMAZING Superbowl halftime performance from a couple years back. A guitar driven Prince album could be the key to what's been missing for the past decade!

I loved the Rave Un2 The Joy Fantastic album but I didn't think Musicology was nearly as good as the critics did.
I liked moments on Rave and a little of Musicology but I agree that critics definitely overrated the album. To be honest the last album by Prince I was totally satisfied with was Emancipation. Hopefully he'll return to form. It's odd, his biggest attributes are song-writing and his excellent guitar work but he has abandoned both over the past decade for the most part.
