I am a hard core Axlite and only bought one copy....the multiple copy argument doesn't hold water when taken in totality. All bands have their hardcore fanbase who will buy multiple copies.
and ps, I was in Walmart yesterday and Black Ice was being sold with three different album covers but the same record!
There's a version with a red logo, a yellow, a blue logo,
...and a deluxe version with a white & blue logo (like "ice") that comes with photos & lyrics.

If this list is legit, then GH outsold CD. Black Ice itself sold more than twice more than CD did, so GN'R needed a better selling album (GH) to outsell all the AC/DC albums.

Another blatant attempt to falsely, and negatively tilt any conversation into a slam on the band. What a ludicrous, pussy-shit, completely irrational take.
This is an incredible accomplishment, with only two catalog albums charting (AFD, GH's charting), they outsold ACDC's catalog, who had nine albums charting. Trans Siberian Orchestra sells millions each holiday season, and has for years. Basically, this shows the strength, massive strength of GNR--over a full year, they sold a boatload of product. I am sure, that GH's, over a full year, sold more than CD did in ONLY 4 weeks. But, to use that as some sort of slam (full year, vs. one month) is ridiculous! The over the top, Bull shit negativity has lost all credibility.
