Ron has never been shy about his dislike for music labels and management.... doesn't mean it applies specifically to GnR..i can see why they would ban it at other gnr sites....the negative brigade would be bound to rear its head

I couldn't find this posted at the big 3. I was curious what the admins thought of it.
The Jarmos see the potential "harm" it will cause, and tries desperately to cover it up. They're scared about what it can mean and what it can do to the positivity.
The negatives sees the potential "Ron wants out of GNR" in it, and want to push the video into new levels of theories about negativity. Ron doesn't like GNR, everyone wants to get out except Ashba, or even how that guy to the left in the video actually IS Axl and that Ron played parts in making the video.
In reality, it's just a funny video.

That's the gayest statement. There isn't anyone here, on the main boards, across the globe that roots for new GN'R to fail and see it's demise simply because they see 'potential' in it. The goddamn dumbest bastard on the planet knows Axl will just bury the whole fuckin' thing, if that were the case.
If GN'R were releasing albums, dropping new singles, you know doing the stuff that even the most unknown nobody's do, let alone a legendary brand name, the negatives wouldn't exist.
They only exist because Axl gives them an opening to exist with his lazy ass approach to work. If Axl was craming this shit down their throat, the negatives would be dead and buried, and even the most loyal Slash nutswingers would be exiled out of the fanbase.
But "negatives see potential in more negative theories". Calling a spade a fucking spade is wanting to find negativity? Axl gave birth to that dump in the toilet bowl... no one else.
How bout dropping CD II and shuttin' everyone up. But somehow, Axl fans see doing nothing and letting his fanbase erode away as "doin' it his way, and I respect him for it".
I guess we got to hand it to the LA Clippers... they "do it their way".

The thing is, there's ALWAYS going to be something to bitch about. Granted Axl makes it quite easy, but people look past the good stuff and go straight for the dirty laundry. I checked out a few vids from the Sturgis show and they looked and sounded pretty damn good to me. But nobody's talking about that and it seems they could care less. Even if that tweet never happened people would still be bitching about the setlist and how it's reunion or bust or how the writing is on the wall that this is the end. If it's not one thing, it's another.
Again, not that all of that stuff isn't warranted to bitch and complain about, but it is what it is. And if people continue to wait for Axl to do stuff other normal bands do, you might as well go follow one of those normal bands a little closer and give your allegiance to them. In case you haven't noticed over the last 17 years, it ain't happening. So you can continue to bitch about Axl not playing the game or not being fan friendly, OR you can accept it that that's just how it's going to be. It's your choice. But to bitch about it OVER and OVER is nothing new and certainly isn't changing anything.
Just my 2 cents.
