So THAT'S what a music video looks like?  It didn't look too hard.  Wonder why GNR can't seem to grasp that concept.  10

One of my favorite songs on the CD, and good promo for the tour since Myles is THE singer.

Pretty cool video, I agree.  And cheap to make too!

Not to steer off course but I wonder if "price" has anything to do with GNR not making videos.  Probably not, but in this day and age, "cheap" is the way to go.  Just throw something together so fans can look at it and enjoy.  Videos aren't what they once were when GNR were in their prime and making those epics.  Axl would certainly have to swallow some pride, step back, and reduce the budget tenfold for a video nowadays.

I gotta be honest, a video like that would not suite Chinese Democracy, any song, any form. It just wouldn't work. Back From Cali is a basic, straight-forward rocker.

Nothing on CD is like that. The video would have to be conceptual.

If a CD video came out that looked like that, I would be disappointed, because of CD's production values, not Slash's. For Slash it's perfectly fine.

If Axl were to cut a straight-forward rocker like that, a live shot video would be perfect.

I dunno, don't they film every show? Imagine how much footage there is of Chinese Democracy, or Better by now, or even like Scraped....you could make a pretty killer "live" video.

That's not what i'm saying. They've got TONS of footage dating back to 2001.

I'm saying CD songs don't fit the tone of a live shot video. 'Bout the only song I could see it working would be Scraped.

I think Scraped would work Shackler's, I.R.S., and even CD itself.

Better works as a straight live shot video.
