Re: Slash To Record Australian Shows

After the massive success of the Manchester, U.K. live recording by Abbey Road Live, legendary guitarist Slash (VELVET REVOLVER, GUNS N' ROSES) has decided to record the Australian shows in August and make a limited number of double-disc CD sets available to the fans Down Under and abroad.

The Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney shows will all be recorded and offer a limited number of CD sets per show, which are sure to sell out fast. Manchester sold out before the show even started.

Pre-order these as soon as possible to reserve your copy at www.abbeyroadliveus.com.

These shows will be fully mixed and mastered, just like Manchester. The sound will be amazing, and the quality unsurpassed. The twin discs are packaged in the superior digipak cases and will look as good on your shelf as the CDs will sound in your stereo.

You may pick your copy up at the show (while supplies last), or have it shipped to you. Either way, go to www.abbeyroadliveus.com now to pre-order and reserve your copy.

If you order a CD to be picked up at the show, you will be e-mailed a link to a "voucher". Make sure to print the voucher and take it with you to the venue. This is how you pick up your CD.

yeah I ordered them as well, little bit crazy in that the actual album retails at JB for $18 but the live CD is $30..then again it's probably double CD length....and  at the end of the day given i'm going to a couple of these gigs it will be a pretty awesome way to remember it in the future....

If I was going to the show, I'd get one.  I'd pay good money for a perfect video from the show I went to in '92.  I'm just not that interested in shows I didn't go to.  For me, it's about the experience and the memories more than the music.
