Re: Former GNR Manager Alan Niven Interviewed On NZ Radio
Alan Niven was born a kiwi and lived in Wellington until the age of four when his family moved to the UK and Alan embarked on a rock n roll voyage that saw him get to the very top of the music business mountain managing Guns N Roses. He came out the other side still maintaining his sense of self. . . just! For the Radio New Zealand National music profile series Musical Chairs Trevor Reekie secures a rare interview with Alan Niven who talks about a career that started at Virgin UK before relocating to Los Angeles where he worked with Motley Crue, Berlin, Dokken, Great White and Guns N Roses. 3 July 2010.

The interview is about 30 minutes long and there is quite a bit of GNR related questions. There is a link to the audio/mp3 on the website.
Re: Former GNR Manager Alan Niven Interviewed On NZ Radio
Thanks for the interview, Aussie. Funny story in there about how Niven wanted David Geffen to renegotiate the contract with GNR and Geffen went ape-shit. Actually, there are a few good stories in there, many of which have been told, but never as eloquently as Niven does here.
