Re: Listen to Ozzy's New Song
Aside from Ozzy's autotuned vocals, this is one of the better new Ozzy tracks I've heard in a while. Sounds better than a lot of the downtuned sludge that Zakk played throughout Black Rain too.
Re: Listen to Ozzy's New Song
Like I said in the other thread when this orginally debuted, it reminds me alot of a more poppy-Ozzy sound that was prevolent in the Bark At The Moon & Ultimate Sin albums.
I know alot of people love Zakk Wylde, but his guitar playing, whether Zakk or Ozzy, was just becoming the same licks and riffs over and over and over again.
If a new guitarist inspires Ozzy to do his first "album" since No More Tears. i'm all for it. Let Me Hear You Scream is a good song. When you listen to it next to Slash's Crucify The Dead, you realize how much of a B-side Dead is.

Re: Listen to Ozzy's New Song
Yeah, it is definitely closer to pop-metal Ozzy from the 80's, and that's a good thing. Lately Ozzy was sounding too much like BLS, not that there's anything wrong with BLS, but they should be separate.
Re: Listen to Ozzy's New Song
Well it's not just the BLS thing. Zakk seemed to just recycle the same stuff from Wicked & Tears over and over, and he seemed to be forcing those harmonic guitar parts he does, when the song didn't call for it, just so it had that Zakk feel on it.
It's like "we get it"
Re: Listen to Ozzy's New Song
This song is bloody awful. Its pitiful songwriting, if an unknown band was playing this in the hope of getting airplay, they would be stonewall denied. The song is utter garbage and its never off the radio, it just shows you how powerful the "old pals act" is.
Re: Listen to Ozzy's New Song
I thought this was pretty clever.

Ozzy Osbourne Scares The Crap Out Of Fans
by Paul Cashmere - May 29 2010
Ozzy Osbourne took to Madame Tussaud`s Wax Museum in New York City this week with the sole intention of scaring the crap of his fans.
Ozzy acted as a wax dummy at the museum and came to life as fans sat next to him posing for a picture.
The idea was publicity for Ozzy'™s forthcoming album '˜Scream'™ and screan the fans did. It was one of the cleverist and funniest publicity stunts ever done.
