This is pretty good. Song itself is not bad, solo is nice. Lyrics don't hurt things. But, I've got an honest question. I haven't followed Cornell's solo stuff. Is this lower, raspy voice a new thing? I don't like it at all. He is usually so crystal clear, smooth and can sing consistently well at such a high level, this really took me by surprise.

Yes, Cornell sings like this all the time, and it's my main issue with not liking his voice.

Vintage Cornell on Soundgarden was such a soft, smooth voice... then suddenly he turned into Kris Kristofferson in the 2000's.

There's definitley a different energy to this one. It's not very often a Slash solo, 2:32-2:53, is the weak point of a tune. Nice work Cornell.

This is hilarious. I gotta get out of the habit of clicking the main topics on the index and go into the sections themselves. While posting about Cornell in that other thread, this song has been sitting in here for almost 2 days.

It's a good song, but could honestly take it or leave it. This is my first time hearing the full thing though, and I'll give it more listens later tonight.

Its not new he's been singing like this a long while especially on Audioslave 2
