It seems obvious to me that this is Axl's final tour.

If you knew that were true, would it motivate you more to travel to Canada?

No. I'm not going to Canada for anybody. Wouldn't go for M.I.A. or a Soundgarden reunion either.

If an artist wants me to see them, better schedule some dates in my neck of the woods.

Axl's refusal to promote both the album and the tour, as well as his behavior over the past X years, makes me think that he doesn't want to be n showbiz anymore, and that he, with this tour, is simply tying up loose ends.

Unless he can make a shitload from a VERY LONG world tour I don't think this can be it.  I would imagine financially he would need to keep doing something.

Am I the only one who thought this thread would be related to Michael Jackson?

There is no way in hell this is his last tour.  Even if he doesnt release another album, the money he has won't last forever.

I thought it would be about Jacko as well, As for last tour? Why would you come to that conclusion? Age- it is relative, 40+ may seem ancient to a twenty year old, but the scale on which you view it slides as you get older, I'm over 40 but not over the hill in any capacity. I think it is a premature supposition and not very well founded or considered. 2006-07 We got tour, 2008 Album, and yes in the face of all those that said it would not happen, Tour 2009-10 is scheduled, so Why all the moaning and lame speculation?
