Was eliminated in the last round.
Will Badmotorfinger continue to be 'the little engine that could'? Will we throw the Chili Peppers under a bridge? Is it time to shatter some Illusions? Time to send Metallica off to never, never land? Will Vedder start moping in his flannel? Do we start plucking feathers off that Rooster?
I gotta vote for the Chili Peppers. We're getting down to the nitty gritty, and to me that album just doesn't deserve to be up there next to the others. One of the Illusions definitely needs to be tossed, but I cant bring myself to vote for GNR until at least the Chilis are gone.

gonna go with Metallica.....just can't stand to listen to those songs anymore....played to death.
First person to vote for it. I don't listen to it anymore either, but that was a monster album.

I'm pulling the trigger. UYI 1. It's a good album. That's it, didn't break ground. Didn't "make the band" wasn't epic. It had November Rain on it. period. And even that was an effigy of what went wrong with Guns N Roses. Listen to NR's piano demo, or acoustic demo. That song could've ruled. But they over polished it, and brought in this orchestra etc... And what happened?? Ironically music changed, and lo-fi was in. Pearl Jam's "Black" Janes Addiction "Jane Says" Chili Peppers "Breaking the Girl." Great songs. Awesome imho. NR? Too much done to it. Close to sappy. Wht else, don't like LALD. Or KOHD, take Heavens door & My World off & you can squeeze Coma into UYI 2. The Garden wasn't really needed. Gasrden of Eden's ok, as is Dead Horse. But we're down to some really good if not all great albums. UYI 1 isn't one of them imho. At least UYI 2 had Estranged, Breakdown, and Civil War, prob the 3 best UYI songs.
There, I did it. I went after it. But I also explained my pick well & didn't go at it for shock value.
