I think "The Andy Griffith Show" was shown on some obscure channel during a grave yard slot here in the UK, so I never watched it.
I'm sure it can't have been anywhere near as un necessary to my life as "The Monkess" were though.

Very tough choice for me , personally. I love both shows.
But I'll go with the Monkees.
