I think the early Soundgarden votes swayed the elimination. There was no way in hell a Soundgarden album was going that early, and those 4 to 5 votes in each round could have been put to good use.

No reason for people to be shocked that Ozzy is gone and STP is in while people were lobbying against Soundgarden.

Reminds me of the last elimination with people jumping on that second Audioslave record early and it just caused other albums like Electric Tears to go in cruise control to the final rounds.

Same thing will happen here.
