That's a fair opinion, James. There've been times where I have thought that TDS was the best of the decade, and if you asked me right now I'd say Angel Dust is the best album of the 90s and I'm sure you'd find that equally absurd.
And I'll also probably start voting Badmotorfinger soon... although Core and Ten and Nevermind are still up there...
This list is so strong that to just declare 'the best is now gone' is a bit of a reach. Its a good album, no doubts there, but look at what its up against.
I guess its easy for me to say as my favorites are still up there, but if one dropped in this round, I would understand why it did. This isn't like the 00s elimination where the list contains a handful of crap. You could make a case for each of these albums deserving a win. Maybe not a strong case, but a case nonetheless.

Either Pearl Jam or STP should go, shame to lose Faith No More. But only because it's my favorite.
