Tiny Masters of Today

Been listening to their new record Skeletons off and on the past few days, and I am shocked by how good it is. Its basically two kids doing punk. They aren't breaking any new ground, and its pretty much just simple, by the book, punk although obviously of the safe and poppy variety due to their age. Was hella stoned the other night and while reading some music sites I saw some kid band that David Bowie apparently labeled "genius". Well, that intrigued me so I headed over to the torrents and downloaded the new record. This stuff is catchy as hell, and I literally cannot get Pop Chart out of my head.

If these kids are promoted properly, this record will be massive. Depending on what else comes out this year, this record will probably be on my top 10 albums of 2009 list.

After I've digested this record awhile, I'm gonna download their first album from two years ago.
