Re: Chris Cornell does song on New Slash record
Looks like Chris Cornell has been leaving cryptic twitters about working with a certain "rock n roll hero" on his page. Looks like its slash the phrase rock n roll hero and also the whole fact that Slash is recording right now for the record
Re: Chris Cornell does song on New Slash record
I read people going on about this guy on the forums as if he is a great singer, what should I be checking out?
As if he's a great singer? Olorin, he's amazing! Look up some Soundgarden stuff. If you want just a taste take a look at the A-Sides cd, and then delve abit deeper. Also some of the Audioslave stuff was fairly good.

Re: Chris Cornell does song on New Slash record
Cornell sampler platter:
"Can't Change Me" - from his first solo record, Euphoria Morning
"Fell on Black Days" - Superunknown, by Soundgarden
"Pretty Noose" - Down on the Upside by Soundgarden
"Be Yourself" - Out of Exile by Audioslave
Really all of Euphoria Morning, all of Superunknown, and the singles from Audioslave and Down on the Upside. Most talented grunge-era singer, even though I prefer Layne Staley's voice, Cornell's got unmatched pipes.
If this is true then I'm really excited. So excited that the song will probably suck, haha.
