Re: Music Madness - max 2 per artist? or max 5?
so this is the list that we came up with after nominations and a prelim round...is there any further comments? otherwise i'm moving forward my votes only counted as tie breakers to flesh out the top 64...it ended up being 6 songs that i added based on tiebreaker nominations...i capped the songs by a single artist at five otherwise gnr wouldve had 11 tracks in the top 64, i thought that was a bit top heavy...i was going to do a random seeing using random.org but if anyone has other suggestions then now is the time

I'm a little put off by how few artists are represented in the 64 songs, but it is how we voted. Let's do it.

I thought there would have been more representation as well. Then again, I know I missed some songs and artists in my own nominations list.

I agree with CC. There's way too many songs from the same bands. Hell, 1/8 of the list is AIC and Metallica.
Like he said though, we nominated these songs so we must proceed. If we do something like this again, we need more rules in place.

I think if we do this again it should be a max of 2 songs per artist. That way at the minimum we would have 32 different bands represented, most likely more.
And if we limit nominations to 2 songs per artist, chances are there will be more of a diversity as well since people will have different top 2 songs from artists.
Not a bad list though. I'm surprised to see No Doubt up there. That band kinda looks weird standing next to all the other ones. 
Same can be said for MIA as well.
