Re: AskMen.com top 10 frontmen
Axl is too low on the list, Thom Yorke is way too high on the list. I don't think Bono will ever get the full recognition he deserves. To be as good as he has been and remain relevant is somehting no other frontman has ever been able to do. I've accepeted the fact that people for the most part simply wont' ever want to put Bono in the top 3, 2 or even #1. Overall decent list though. Axl should be top 5 or 6. Top 3 had he not dissapeared for a decade +.
I'd rank teh top five like this:
1. Freddy
2. Jagger
3. Bono(even though I think he's the best I gotta be unbiased)
4. Plant
5. Axl

I don't get having Axl and Steven Tyler that low.
If I were voting, my list would be:
1. Axl Rose
2. Paul Stanley
3. Mick Jagger
4. Steven Tyler
5. Freddie Mercury

Re: AskMen.com top 10 frontmen
LMAO.....
"His iconic hip-shakin’ dance with the mic stand and his full-stage sprint are probably the second things that most people think of when they think of Guns ‘n’ Roses, the first being Axl’s tendency to jump into the crowd and punch out his own fans. Now that’s rock ‘n’ roll."
Re: AskMen.com top 10 frontmen
Pretty good list, except for the fact that Yorke & Reznor shouldn't even be on it, and the placing of Yorke over Ozzy, Diamond Dave, Axl and Steven fuckin' Tyler is truely baffling, and goes to show the MASSIVE overrating of Radiohead, and the Radiohead nutswingers.
My list would've been something like this...
1) Freddie Mercury
2) Bono
3) Mick Jagger
4) Robert Plant
5) Ozzy Osbourne
6) Steven Tyler
7) David Lee Roth
8) Brian Johnson
9) Axl Rose
10) Jon Bon Jovi (ugh, I feel sick even putting him on the list)
I'm not taking into account case-by-case preferences, i'm taking into account quality, charisma, tenure, length of catalog, energy, etc.
My favorites list would probably be...
1) Axl
2) Freddie
3) Ozzy
4) Steven
5) Mick
