Re: Lyric discrepancies in the CD booklet
1.) Chinese Democracy
@ 3:50
You think you've got it all locked up inside
And if you beat 'em enough they'll die
It's like a walk in a park from a cell
And now you're deep in your own kind of hell
When your brain will rot by yourself
While their arms reach out for your help
And you're out of time
2.) Better
@ 1:30
This melody
Inside of me
Still searches for solution
4.) Street Of Dreams
@ 3:59
[...] has cost more than it should for me
@ 4:23
[...] what I'd tell ya
5.) If The World
that last 2 lines on the song as listed in the booklet do not occur
If the world would end
And our love slipped away
7.) Catcher In The Rye
@ 3:23
And if they'd ever change
As to that who am I to say
9.) Riad N' The Bedouins
this part is repeated twice in the booklet but the actual song only does it once
Riad N' The Bedouins
Say that's a war that you can't win
But I have had enough of them
And who can blame meSands of time and desert winds
Nomads and barbarians
I won't bend my will to them
You aggravate meOh, my salvation
N' all my frustrations
Caught in the lies no one had wove as well
Somewhere in time
Where only I could tell
12.) Madagascar
First off I wanna say that the actual formatting in the booklet for the lyrics on this song is terrible.
@ 2:21 the lyric book says the lyric is
My'd own denial [...]
to me that makes abosolutely no sense, i could swear it says
Mired in denial [...]
@ 3:22
"Fear!"
Movie Quote: Detective William Somerset (portrayed by Morgan Freeman), Se7en, 1995; written by Andrew Kevin Walker
Re: Lyric discrepancies in the CD booklet
I said the lyrics are on black, what I meant was all the track-by-track credits are on black, and Axl's thank you's is the orange painting.
The actual lyrics are still the unique member-to-member paintings. And they are much cooler in the final liner notes, then the leak. The gold, shines like gold. It's glittery and really cool.

"As to that, who am I to say"
HOLY CRAP - I've wondered about that!
These booklet screw ups piss me off. UYI was made before desktop publishing became as abundant as water, and it had a ton more lyrics, and there's not fuck-ups like this...
