Re: Palin Power
Perhaps...but I'll quote Georgie boy from when the election results came in late 2000; We're doing good in a lot of states we thought we wouldn't.
We all know who actually won, and that he didn't wind up in the White House.
Point is, McCain may be looking good among the voters, but Obama is the one looking the best among the elite. Like, elections have been fixed before...
Re: Palin Power
IF the fix is in, its more likely to be in favor of McCain.
Want more war? McCain will give it to you in large doses if needed.
High oil prices? McCain can deliver those shipments just as easily as Obama.
Last but not least, there's a rising, attractive star on his ticket who can be groomed over the next 16 years.
She could be a morphing of Reagan/Thatcher. The "elite" most certainly recognize this.

Well sure, McCain offers more of the same. Obama however, with his young face, charisme, vitality and intelligence, offers 'change'.
Remember, what the 'elite' is doing now is just a means to an end. McCain represents the means, Obama the end. Of course the result will be the same either way, but at the present Obama seem to be the favored choice of ushering in this 'change'. Have you seen his 'running for world president' speech in Berlin where he calls for forced 'cooperation'? That is a JFK type of persona in the making. An idol as opposed to the cliche old white man.
Clearly he is the preferred choice, with McCain as the plan B. This you see in the controlled media also. Obama has from the beginning being cut a lot of slack.
Re: Palin Power
Agreed. Obama is a very moving man, with the ability to make you believe (he's certaintly moved me at times), but just because he's a good public speaker don't = good president. Carter, prime example.
Same for McCain. Experience don't mean shit. On paper, George H.W. Bush was the most qualified guy EVER for that job, YEARS in Washington, time in the service, head of the CIA, VP for eight years, etc... - weak ass president.
So they BOTH better start talking about the issues. The only person that seems to be doing that is Sarah Palin. You know, little miss dumb chick. She's the smartest one around lately. Obama keeps BOMBING HORRIBLE at fuckin' punchlines, McCain keeps trying to convince everyone around he's for 'change', Biden just spouts of about George Bush III in an almost drunken manner...
It's just really lame. Would you guys stop dickin' around and playing fast and loose with this election, and start talkin' turkey. Palin is sitting around looking like the classiest and smartest one of all, and probably the biggest thing she ever had to worry about was how many moose hunting licenses to grant in a year.
