Re: Who should be the Republican VP choice?
Ok here goes, again I tried to include only the likely choices, so I excluded alot of Governors & Senators from random states that I saw on some websites I looked at. If you know of a name let me know & I'll add it in. I put Bloomberg here as well because he supposedly did meet with McCain a few weeks ago so there was rumored talk McCain might be considering him.
Re: Who should be the Republican VP choice?
I voted Crist. I would like Bloomberg best, myb I should have voted for him, but I'm not sure I see it happening. If he selects him, he'll lose some Republican votes, and Obama may still keep his Dem & liberal votes, so McCain may not 'gain' with him. I think that would be a good ticket though, just I don't think he'd really steal the democraatic vote with that. He'd help in Fla though, as alot of NY'ers are retired down there, as well as Jewish. But Crist would pretty much lock up FLA anyway, and I think his approval rating is pretty good.
Re: Who should be the Republican VP choice?
I gotta go with Mitt... he was the guy I was backing in the primary originally. Now with how shitty our economy is, we could definitely use his economic experience.
The only person on this list who I can honestly say I really hope isnt on the ticket is Huckabee. He seems like a really nice guy, but his whole Jesus shtick scares the fuck out of me.
Re: Who should be the Republican VP choice?
Yeah, Huckabee is a loon. McCain has zero chance of getting my vote if he chooses Huckabee.
I went with Palin of course. Could be a star in the party, and there's no one on the list who outweighs her resume to the point where she shouldn't be considered.
However, I think the only chance she has at getting the VP slot is if Obama picks Hillary.
