Thank god it's outside the perimeter.  Looking for more info, but I doubt they'd be able to maneuver a vehicle that close to a gate so hopefully it was just a small bomb and not a VBIED.

DoD is confirming a suicide bomber and reports of at least 3 US Serviceman being casualties are coming out.
