As for new GNR music, for which there is always an interest in, McKagan says it’s happening. “There’s a lot of songs bouncing around, I’ll tell you that. These 11 songs that are on this record were in a group of, I’m not even kidding you, like 70 that I wrote. Axl has some really kick but stuff that he had coming into it. We’ve never been at a loss for material. So the next step on that, as far as just everything Guns N’ Roses goes, I’ll just say we’re in a really positive place.”

Fortus said: “We are going to try to do another record and get it out soon,” and told the station host, “I think it will happen faster than you think.”

Conclusion
Recording started in earnest after August 2018, the band were on a break until November and has been ongoing throughout 2019. Slash and Duff have written songs for the album, potentially. The album should be out by March next year. Hard School is the first song confirmed for the album. The band are touring South America starting late March, six countries have so far been mentioned in various places.

I think we can forget about the bucket stuff making the album, which sucks because Prom Violence has potential to be cool. I actually like Caram, the over production was solely on Axl tinkering in 06-08 and adding Ron.
Really excited to hear what Richard and Slash can do together.

I think the next album is the swan song for the discography and they'll just continue as a touring juggernaut until they run out of road.
I wish they'd start naming song titles.

I think Slash will work with all the material and that’s how he worked in Guns before. With the Izzy material material or Huge stuff. I could see Slash taking Quick Song on. How he deals with Soul Monster might be interesting. Will Slash be the new Ron on CD material. Costanzo might be the MVP of digital editing.

Exciting times for sure - I feel the CD monkey is off Axl's back now, he's had his vindication so hopefully he doesn't overthink/cook this album
He's got most of the old band back, the world loves him again and will lap up a new album
