Slash receives a Les Paul award from Namm... Pretty cool video here. The backing band is Aronoff on Drums, Don Was Bass, Skunk Baxter Guitar, Orianthi Guitar... Orianthi gets some solo time, though depending on which video below you may or not be able to hear her. If you contrast her tone to Slash's, her's sound like a line 6 spyder. Very compressed and high gain. Not terrible, but not very tube sounding to me. Looks like Slash snatched a Silver Jubilee Reissue.. He sounds pretty good. I liked the Safari Inn jam, that song is off his most recent album. Was cool to see Skunk solo some. He is a good old school rocker that forgot more theory than I will ever learn.
