Apparently there's some "outrage" today due to the fact that Beiber didn't get so much as one nomination. I personally find that to be FANTASTIC news.
You ain't kidding. Watch all the brain washed fan girls cry. Music to my ears. I'm glad the Grammys had some sense this time around. They have good selections for the nominations. Hoping the best for Blunderbuss and a few other songs I noticed that I've listened to before.
Rize of the Fenix should win best comedy album. They put a ton of effort, humor, and rock energy into that LP.

Oh I agree. I like Mumford and all but to me there's nothing "rock" about them. Also, am I wrong or is that "Americana" category A) New and B) Weird either way?
It might not be new, but I bet it was at least one of the tons of categories that exist but would never have gotten mentioned in a press release before. With the popularity of bands like Mumford and Sons and a few others right now they just brought it to the forefront a little more.
What's probably my favorite album that came out this year I would guess would be considered Americana, but way too small of a release to get attention from something like this.
