Wayne Coyne is one of the most awesome people on the planet.
& the flips are one of America's greatest ever rock bands.
This story doesn't surprise me at all.
Im not a musical kinda guy but I'd love to see what the do w/Yoshimi.
Fwiw if you get the chance see the flips live, they're an experience unlike anything you've ever seen.

that's a p flippant & unreasonable reaction to what was meant as a fun & harmless sideproject.
hating & denying yourself the wealth of their material, including possibly the greatest album of the 1990's, cause of one cover album is ridiculous.
i mean have you even heard Race for the Prize or Do You Realise?

Have you heard other covers that the Flips have done? It's like that. They do it their way, and Wayne sings it his way. It's very different.
