I don't know if the music could take it! I see alot of good & bad things coming out of it. Not really into Smashing Pumpkins and the collaborations Billy has done in the past. So wouldn't affect me one bit if it didn't happen.

Smashing Pumpkins are awesome and even if I look at them now the way I look at Guns(Not really Smashing Pumpkins) Billy's new album Oceana is really good in my opinion. I'm not sure I'd care to see these two work together though. Doesn't seem lke an appealing match to me.

I'd like to see Axl work with U2 obviously. Would be cool to hear what kind of melodies Axl could come up with with The Edge's abilty to create atmosphereic music with tempo. Not sure Bono and Axl would sound good together though.

Eddie Vedder might be an interesting combo. The deep growl of Eddie combined with the venomous scream of Axl.... who knows.

Would be kind cool to hear Axl sing with Mike Ness/Social Distortion too.

At this point I find it hard to even imagine Axl working with anybody, so I'm not gonna bother pipe dreaming. The laziness/procrastination would kill ANY potential collaboration, and don't bring up that Baz crap as an example. That sucked and probably took him a day or two and all he contributed was vocals.

Axl needs to prove himself again before anything like this can happen. The Reznor-Axl thing should have happened back then. Now? Not a chance.
