Today is a day where I am completely embarrassed to live in the south.  I don't think half the people down here can read and if they can, they certainly didn't read their Bible.  I've never seen so many people throwing out misinformation and attacking people all in the name of God before and giving each other facebook high-fives in the process.  It's pretty sickening and there's no way to get away from it since it is being talked about everywhere in the non-facebook world too.

seriously, the amount people (not just yanks) spend on lobbying & on lobbying w/repulsive fervour against such meaningless crap as same-sex marriages, i find an utterly depressing waste of resources & humanity.

what the fuck difference does it make to some paedophile preacher from americas bible belt if two fags want to get married? how the fuck is it gonna impact on his life, like?

I DON'T GET PEOPLE. AT ALL. THEY'RE FUCKING MENTAL.
BAD MENTAL.

Only in America?

Maybe other places as well. Could be Iran, could be beheaded.

It's a non-issue here and fucking glad it is.

Being gay or not is like the most uninteresting thing there is. And who the fuck do they harm if they wanna get hitched?

Catholic priests banging kids left and right.

Hypocrites.

Same sex marriage debates and protests meaningnless crap, and it will always be meaningless crap.

I get people. They are dumb. That's it. Don't need to make it worse than that.

Plain old school dumb.

nah it's more than just stupidity.

people fill their lives w/this hateful shit. now part of that is because theyre dumb, yea, but also part of it is they're crazy. & i figure, which is probably where i'm going wrong, that for even a split second these people have an enlightened thought & think "hold on, maybe i'm wrong/wasting my energy" but they can't hold on to it & revert back to their craziness. what i feel is, if they'd just stop & think for even a minute, they could find something more useful to concern themselves with.

& unfortunately it's not just in america. we've got these creationist nitwits over here too, & starting to infiltrate & influence our politics/culture. it would be laughable if they werent so scary/depressing.

Buzz is right, people are lining up to go to Chic-fil-A... For what exactly? the president hates gays too?

There's a lot of repressed, self-hating homosexuals in America, especially in the south and especially in the more religious sects of the south, where this is actually important to them.

And Chic-fil-A has been donating millions to groups that are trying to outlaw homosexuality... Actually arresting gay people for being gay. So this all kinds of weird.
