Today is a day where I am completely embarrassed to live in the south. I don't think half the people down here can read and if they can, they certainly didn't read their Bible. I've never seen so many people throwing out misinformation and attacking people all in the name of God before and giving each other facebook high-fives in the process. It's pretty sickening and there's no way to get away from it since it is being talked about everywhere in the non-facebook world too.

nah it's more than just stupidity.
people fill their lives w/this hateful shit. now part of that is because theyre dumb, yea, but also part of it is they're crazy. & i figure, which is probably where i'm going wrong, that for even a split second these people have an enlightened thought & think "hold on, maybe i'm wrong/wasting my energy" but they can't hold on to it & revert back to their craziness. what i feel is, if they'd just stop & think for even a minute, they could find something more useful to concern themselves with.
& unfortunately it's not just in america. we've got these creationist nitwits over here too, & starting to infiltrate & influence our politics/culture. it would be laughable if they werent so scary/depressing.

Buzz is right, people are lining up to go to Chic-fil-A... For what exactly? the president hates gays too?
There's a lot of repressed, self-hating homosexuals in America, especially in the south and especially in the more religious sects of the south, where this is actually important to them.
And Chic-fil-A has been donating millions to groups that are trying to outlaw homosexuality... Actually arresting gay people for being gay. So this all kinds of weird.
