In some ways I can't blame the guy. I see this TMZ shit all the time and these pics these girls take with Chris Brown or whatever the fuck and it is BEYOND STUPID.
They are goofy, pointless, vain, void, emotionless photos that mean literally NOTHING.
I can also understand Tommy's take on "if they don't believe you fuck them".
Does the man owe his fans? YES HE DOES. Does he owe them a photo if they want it? Maybe. Is Tommy entitled to not like taking photos? Yes. He's a man, and based on some of the paparazzi shit, he's never been a big fan of photos.
I don't really like photos either, so maybe i'm seeing it from his point of view. I have friends that kinda "let's get a photo of you and [insert person] together". I take the photo and it's usually fucking pointless. It's just me giving the "Axl stare" with someone for the sake of a pointless photo that tries to capture some sort of emotion between me and some other fucktard that doesn't give a shit about me.
Then they throw it up on Facebook which bothers me even more, to show like "he was there and this is what we did" like we're buddies, when we're really not.
I'd be lying if I didn't say it bothered me. But it seems to me Tommy is burnt out on photo requests, which is a shame for his fans. But when some fucking asshole wants me to take a pic with him on his cell phone, in a fucking bathroom while i'm taking a piss... i'm gonna be upset. If i'm having dinner with my family and a fan walks up and talks, i'm fine with that. "Hey man, nice to meet you. How's it going?" When the fan asks for a photo WHILE I'M EATING, that'll piss me off.
What's Axlin's response to all of this?
If you don't like it. Then don't GO OUT IN PUBLIC! Send a handler to get your food, and eat in the studio or the privacy of your hotel room. That's what i'd do.
But I can understand a little bit of what he's saying, even if i'm not a celebrity. As soon as someone whips out their phone for a picture, I roll my eyes and it immediately sours my mood.

Personally the only members in Motley I respect are Nikki and Mick! My friend got to meet Nikki during one of his book signings and she said he was the most friendly and intellectual guy she has meet in the rock world plus he is consistent with music projects. Mick is just a badass dude and a great guitar player. Vince's attitude at times pisses me off even though he is a good frontman; but his voice has taken a turn for the worse live now. Both of you make strong points. I personally think Tommy Lee has always been kind of a douche in my opinion. I would never invade a celebrity's personal life because if I was in their position that would creep me the fuck out. So I completely understand on the Cantrell situation. In my head, I"m like this is Mr. Jerry Cantrell of Alice in Chains and he can do whatever the hell he wants! 
Sucks you weren't able to get that photo or autograph. It reminds me of this one article I read when one celebrity was able to get the opportunity to get a photo with Ringo Starr and the celeb was such an arrogant prick to him. I'm like..you did not just act like that to my man Ringo part of the Fab Four, the dukes of Rock N' Roll!

The weird thing is i've always thought of Vince & Tommy as assholes.
But believe it or not, I knew two seperate friends of mine that partied with each of them personally, individually, and said they were just great guys... in a party sense. They were cool, generous, and just fuckin' crazy too. Tommy was supposed to be the wacky dude, and just kinda was there and cool.
My aunt "supposedly" partied with Vince and his girl at the time years ago (supposedly the chick Izzy kicked), and just said how shocked they were how Vince wasn't hung up on himself, and it was a helluva night, and Vince was like the ringleader and it was just over the top all night partying.
But my aunt has "low standards". Vince could've cummed in her beer and said drink it, and she would have, and would've told told everyone "how he bought her a drink".

That's awesome to hear. From what I've heard he's a mellow chill kind of dude which is great for an artist like him! Glad you were able to talk to Cantrell. Did you guys talk about music or any other things with him?
