very reminscient of earlier stuff - Louder than love era...
Not as heavy sounding as some era's but still unmistakeably Soundgarden...
very excited.... have a feeling this album is going to be a stunner

Alright. The first new SOUNDGARDEN song in 15 years is coming to Radio later this week. According to the site, the band wrote the song specifically for the soundtrack... Here's the single “Live to Rise!”

surprised at this and not totally sold - rather generic sounding. A mixture of 'You know my name' and 'No such thing' off Carry on.
Luckily this was written specifically for the movie so I guess they demanded something commercial and will not feature on the album.
Would be very disappointed if this was indicative of the album though....
