Nothing unique?.... I guess you're right cause he does sound like Freddie Mercury. Whatever dude.
Re: Freddie Mercury LIVES!
Somebody call Brian & Roge... this guy just got the job.
NOT Chicken feed...
Re: Freddie Mercury LIVES!
I know exactly what you mean man.
Freddie always seemed a tad scared to hit those high notes on Somebody To Love, especially "the big one".
George just went after it at the Freddie Tribute show.
It was THE BEST vocal performance of the night, and despite all the energy with the Axl performances, the George Michael performance I rarely like to admit.... was my favorite.

Re: Freddie Mercury LIVES!
Axlin buddy, we have a lot in common. I though George OWNED that performance that night, definate stand out, his voice never cracks or gets pitchy which is incredible for a man that has been smoking over 20 joints a day for decades.
And that guy Marc Martel is a fucking INCREDIBLE singer. Bono is spot on; anyone who sings in a band knows what it takes to deliver like that and look so comfortable. Incredible power, precision and control.
