Are you thinking of purchasing one of these in the near future?
near future? no but i do need a second guitar for Drop "D" Tuning
if/when i do ever decide to invest in a guitar i will need to:
A) first need to play one of each of these (set neck version)B) somehow get 5 or 6 hundreed dollars

I've got both, and the little groove near the bottom of the fretboard on the mockingbird makes it a little tough to reach those higher notes for me. They're both great guitars though, and they look good to boot.
The Explorer is alot nicer. I like the white one even better.
No Firebird in with the discussion?
