Don't know why people mess with that shit. I saw some freaky shit where people were fucking with a Ouija board on a nightly basis for a time.
People getting the same nightmares on the same nights, a swarm of flies appearing in a closed room in the basement, names of dead relatives coming out on the Board. Shadows on the stairwells, women being groped and men being pushed and punched by something invisible.
Wow that sounds hardcore.
My issue with this stuff has always been:
The way I see it, it's either real or its not. If it's not real - then sitting around casting spells and doing rituals and stuff is a massive jerk off and a huge waste of time. On the other hand - if it is real - then like it's clearly involving forces that surpass human knowlege, understanding and control - in which case it's obviously not a good idea to be fucking around with something that powerful that one doesn't even really understand properly.
So both of those factors kind of lead me to thinking that either way it's a bad idea to get involved.
But it's facinating given we live in quite agnostic times these days the number of people that have come out recently and said they got involved in this kind of thing and it was bad/good/whatever.
