Ex-WARRANT Singer JANI LANE Schedules Solo Tour - Feb. 23, 2011
Former WARRANT singer Jani Lane is preparing to embark on a solo tour. He will be joined on all dates by returning keyboardist Shawn Zavodney, guitarist Patrick Kennison and former WARRANT guitarist Billy Morris.
According to a posting on the Everything Jani Lane page, Jani "has been feverishly writing since 2008 to bring you a more modern sound! Think THE BEATLES mixed with HOOBASTANK and FOO FIGHTERS!!! He is working very hard to evolve with the music industry as well as keeping his long time fans impressed and turned on by his new creations."

WARRANT announced in September 2008 that it was splitting with Jani Lane six months after the band first reunited with the troubled vocalist. He has since been replaced by Robert Mason (LYNCH MOB, CRY OF LOVE, BIG COCK).
On July 19, 2010, Lane pled no contest to DUI stemming from his most recent arrest back in May 2010 — and was ordered to serve 120 days in jail. In addition, Lane lost his license for three years and had to complete a 30-month alcohol-education program.
Lane originally left WARRANT in 2002 to pursue a solo career. He released a solo album, "Back Down to One", in 2003, but shortly after was admitted to a rehab center for alcohol and drug-related exhaustion. He also appeared on VH1's reality series "Celebrity Fit Club".

These guys, including Axl, need to just stick to what they do best. Axl got it with CD, thus the heavy amount of UYI-style ballads. These guys just need to stick to the melodic rock that made them stars at one time.
Not a big Warrant fan, but I loved the hell out of this song...

Yeah i'm kinda suprised the guy is even still trying to tour... he's become notorious for his druken performances.
I want to say it was Rockalohoma, or one of those where he slurred though several songs, jumped down in the crowd, and was totally fuckin' out of it. You could tell the guy had no clue where in the hell he even was he was so drunk.
After that the Warrant guys fired him for good, and brought in the guy they have now. That was the final straw moment.
Has he been on Celeb Rehab? I haven't had VH1 for awhile. I know a few years ago when he did Celebrity Fat Club, he couldn't even complete it his alcoholism was so bad off.
