I want to go to vegas bad. Looks like my kind of town. We only have 1 casino in melbourne...and there's none of the danicng girls and stuff

You know, I've never understood the mindset of these casinos. Its clearly "give them all the booze they want for free so they'll spend more money".
Get them drunk so they will be less tight with their money. That's the idea. I know I spend more when I get (or GOT is the proper word nowadays) drunk.
I know at least one Turkish clothes salesman does the same trick to naive Westerners. He got my brother and his friend into the store, fed them free drinks and then sold them clothes. "First we drink, then we talk business" was his motto. It all worked. My brother came home with all kinds of crap.
As for all this, all quite alien to me as gambling in these terms have never been part of my life. Wish I could go to Vegas once or twice.
