The Bears are more talented than the Packers.  They almost beat them in the playoffs two years ago with a third string QB.  After absorbing another idiotic Mike Martz fueled slow start, they were playing as good as anybody in the NFL last year when Forte and Cutler got hurt.

The Bears drastically improved their offense coming into this season.  Cutler was pretty good with nobody at WR; he'll be even better with Marshall outside and a healthy Earl Bennett (Cutler's recent go to guy) in the slot (think Welker).  Devin Hester will be single covered if teams double Marshall.  More importantly, there's no Mike Martz.  I can't begin to tell you how many problems he caused by himself.

Their defense is far superior to GB.  Their ground game is far superior to GB.  Their ST are far superior to GB.  The only advantage (and granted it's a big one) GB has is Rogers over Cutler.  I think the rest of the gap offensively has closed that Rogers over Cutler isn't enough to keep GB ahead any more.  Cutler was pretty good last year and threw no red zone interceptions last year.  Many say he's top 10 already.  If he builds on that the Bears will be in great shape.

Sure, I'm drinking the koolaid.  I admit it.  And certainly health is pretty much a requirement for all teams, but I really think the Bears are set to be very, very good this year if they don't lose Cutler.

I didn't see anything in the first 2 weeks to change that assessment.

Their d shut down the arguably best qb in the league ... They need another good wr to open up the passing game

More talented? No way, Rodgers is way better than Cutler, GB WR's are a shit ton better than Chicagos, only thing the Bears got going for them is their run game.

Bears defense is far superior to GB? How many INT's and Sacks did the Packers get?

ugly game for pats that they had handed to them and couldnt capitalize. ugly offensive play-calling, HORRIBLE special teams did them in. Lot of parity - plenty of 1-1 teams.

Did you watch the same game I did?  Are you giving the D credit for the ints or Cutler?  Rodgers and the GB receivers looked pretty shitty to me.  All those ints and what did they do with it?  Not a whole lot.  The Bear D owned GB.  Save one fluke STs play and that game goes down to the wire even with all the turnovers.  But don't let facts get in the way of what really happened.

Regardless of whether or not the INT's were Cutlers or the Packers D's fault. 4 INT's and a shitload of sacks proves that the Packers are superior/ Bears are inferior. Doesnt matter what way you look at it

And Rodgers/GB WR's had quite the off game

I can't believe I'm defending the Packers lol, but they're better than the Bears and Mr. Whiny Pouty Douchebag Jay Cutler

Well, now we get to your real problem.  It's fine that you don't like Cutler.  Claiming a team is clearly better because they won at home thanks to 4 ints and a fake FG is hardly proving your point.  What did that great Packer offense do with those turnovers?  That's right...they didn't do shit.  The Bears offense was about as bad as it could be and it took a ST fluke play for the Packers to win by double digits.  At home.  Color me unimpressed.

I stick by everything I said, and as I said nothing in the first 2 weeks has changed that,

I'll be happy to bet you $50 per game for the Bears/Viking games.  Put your money where your mouth is.

I make this offer while I sit here in my AP Vikings jersey as I was rooting for him in fantasy football today...

I'm not the guy who says his team is more talented than the Packers.

Obviously the Packers are better than the Vikings, this has absoluting nothing to do with my team. I never made a ridiculous statement like you did

Oh yeah, not saying that the Viks will beat the Bears in December, because anything can happen between now and then, but Ponder had a passer rating of 114 today

How did Cutler do?
