I was just talking with one of my friends who is a hardcore NIN fan and met Robin twice on the NIN tour, he's met Trent a few times and is not a stranger to that band at all, he's seem them so many times in the front row, that's how Trent got to know who he is. I just asked him tonight if he thinks Robin will tour with GNR in 09 and he said no way. He's staying with Nails. I am really curious to see what happens. I will say this, if they don't tour in 09 my guess is it's because they need to get another guitar player.

If they want the new band to go on, they need to throw it all at Bucket.
If they are doing that with Robin - they are wasting their time.
Amen! Trent can keep Finck. I can think of at least 10 guitarists who would be better picks than Finck.

me too...i thought he was the shits...his work on CD is also very good....granted, he's not much of a guitar hero type of player....so the crowd doesn't go bonkers for him, this is what BH can do pretty well for them...but Robin was good...

Robin is gone... And what would he be coming back to with GNR? All that hard work he gave over the years recording and the jackass lead singer (band leader) continuously sabotages the band's success?
Remember guys, forget about Axl blowing off the record, GNR has not finished ONE SINGLE tour since he debuted them. Every turn has been a disaster. Why would he want to come back?
