LMAO...the funny thing is that's exactly what I thought when i saw that pic...then went like "oh i see...death...coffin.." and checked myself into sexbrain-rehab

I think it looks really cool. It looks like a fingerprint, then you realise it's actually one of those old magnetic field tests we did back in science class in school. AND a return of the old logo!
I saw a recent interview with James Hetfield and he talks a bit about the title saying that it's a bit of a tribute to fallen fellow musicians (Layne Staley etc) and also how some people are attracted to death (hence the magnetic reference). Apparently 'death' is a common theme throughout the album.
I'm pretty fucking excited about this. Sounds like it's gonna be epic.
