Karma for compiling all those reviews.Not gonna read them though because this is one of those films I want to walk into with a clear head and not have any preconceptions regarding it.
I haven't commented much in this thread yet, but thats pretty much because of the reason I just mentioned. Cant comment on the various reviews/spoilers because I'm not reading them.

I do not blame you one bit. Most of the reviews avoid major spoilers but I've already been spoiled by users at IMDB on the TDK forum there. Warning, do NOT go anywhere near the TDK forum at IMDB.

Swear to God, something fishy is going on at Rotten Tomatoes. The movie doesn't have a single review posted that gives it below an 8.5, and most of them are 9 or 10. Yet it's average rating is 8.3. They posted two reviews today from Hollywood Reporter and Variety, both of which were counted as 100's by Metacritic, and the average rating went DOWN from 8.6 to 8.3. If this was some Oscar-bait movie, its rating would be around a 9.2 right now based on the actual numbers and RT would not jack with the numbers. But they are screwing with it and manipulating it b/c it's a "superhero movie." Total bullshit.

Sane here. I want to know as little as possible about this movie. I don't need positive reviews or any reviews to up my interest in this movie. I havent' anticipated a movie this much since LOTR's Return of the King.
James can I assume you finally got around to seeing Batman Begins? And if so what did you think?
My only complaint so far is that Maggie Gyllenhall(sp?) has taken over Katie Holmes' character. She may be a better actress but the roll can't be big enough to make a difference. It's basically a bit part roll no? I know alot of peole complained about Katie's acting in BB but really it didn't hurt the film one way or another in my opinion. I thought she was fine. PLus she's a lot nicer to look at in my opinion. I just don't like when characters switch actors in a series. As a protest I might just wait untill the late show on opning night rather than catch the early show. That'll show'em

Actually, I haven't watched it yet. Keep putting it off. Was gonna torrent it the other night but forgot all about it.
I'll definitely watch it this week.
