I hope that I'm wrong, but it's probably not too far from the truth if it keeps going down this road.
This is something new and obviously it can't please everyone - but I'm just glad for my own sake since this is exactly what I wanted and expected from Guns N' Roses in this day and age.
I love this and I love the direction that it's going. I'm probably sounding biased, but that's how I truly feel.
You wanted and expected lounge music from GNR in this day and age?...
I wanted any music from GNR I could get.
I expected some of it to sound way different then "traditional GNR".
So I guess my answer to the question is yes.
Its always good get 'new' music from GNR - its not often we actually get any so anything is appreciated. Its also good that they try different things, god knows that they've had enough time to experiment. I'm all for bands branching out, as long as it sounds good then it doesnt matter.
Maybe calling If The World 'lounge music' is a little harsh, but its not far off. Maybe its a grower but its not doing much for me at the moment. The othr 2 certainly have their merits as do the other songs that we have had for years.
I'm still looking forward to the album, hopefull we'll see it soon enough. Hopefully by the end of the week - its obvious theres more to come.

All in all I like what I have heard, I thought New Song 2 was good, not much into "If the World" and really glad to hear Riyadh in studio form. Better and the Blues are still my favorite.
If this is pretty much the album it's ok, not great but does have moments. I still kind of believe what we have heard was to keep interest somewhat alive and there is a strong possibility that there may be stronger tracks waiting. Just an opinion.

I thought I was crazy to think that but it appears more people think so too.
Well maybe we are optimistic but only yesterday I was thinking there needs to be more leaks to bring the interest back up in the fanbase.
I honestly think theres more to come, and very soon. Fingers crossed!

I don't like If The World at all. Sounds like GN'R playing lounge/porn music as others have said.
Rhiad studio sounds cool, and so does the other one.
Still, are all of these tracks really worth the wait or do they live up to the hype...?
