Re: US Politics Thread
The thing I think a lot of people don't get is all this is not an American problem, its a global problem that will require a global solution. America takes the brunt of the blame simply because they are currently the biggest, strongest, but what happens in the rest of the world dictates American policy so its all globally evolving the end of the day.
With how information is digested now I do smell a huge revolution of some kind is coming, maybe even in our lifetime. Will it be a good thing or bad? Well have to wait an see.
I made this comparison somewhere, but don't think it was here. Did anyone watch Revenge of the Sith? I think we're all being manipulated behind the scenes by the same people. Don't know who, don't know exactly how, but I believe it's happening at least on some level. We have our issues for sure, but someone is benefiting from keeping the racial and socioeconomic divide there.
It's not me, though I guess the good news personally is I pulled myself from the poor growing up and being homeless in my late teens/early twenties at one point into the dwindling middle-class. That's probably why I am so anti-socialism. I worked hard to better myself and I damn well don't want someone pulling me back down.

Remember when I said you read stuff and then make up what you wanted someone to say?
Have a nice day mitch.
You’re misinterpreting me. You are the one misunderstanding. Irish original question was about when did we (Americans) begin to mistrust our government so much. Or something to that affect.
Have a good day mitch.

Wow with you. There is no winning with you. This is a discussion it doesn’t need to have a winner and a loser. And the topics can be fluid. I don’t know what the fuck your problem is all the time.

I'm not attacking you, I think buzz ignoring you when you are trying to join the discussion is wrong but that's on him.
I've no issue with you whatsoever.

You do what you do every time and this is how I will handle you every time you do it to keep the peace. I was not in any conversation about why we were in Iraq, I didn't say anything about why we were in Iraq, and I will not be saying anything about why we were in Iraq because that is fairly well documented. If you want to have that discussion with others, go for it. I will not be participating; nor will you force me into participating by saying I said something that I didn't.
So as I said, have a nice day.
