Ooh, does this mean someone's managed to work up an isolated version of the raspy vocal? Would love to have that so I can play around with my own remixes...

Listening to it... yeah, it doesn't really work, does it? Like, it'd be nice if he sang the original with more rasp, but this vocal arrangement, with these melodies, is clearly not intended to go over the soft, orchestral original. The vocals sort-of work in the later choruses, where the guitars and drums kick in, but even then the mix is pretty painful.

Someone should try adding these raspy vocals to a live version from the NITL tour with Slash and Duff on there!
