The Motörhead FB says Lemmy learned he had cancer on Boxing Day, just two days after his 70th birthday.

By any rate, it was a rapid demise. Still, it's better than witnessing him go through the indignation of chemo and whatever.

Hats off to Lemmy. He lived out his life the way he wanted.
