Haha, yeah. I actually met up with Jim Zig Zag Bobiadis (JimBob) years ago. I knew he lived in Vegas so I wrote him when I was out there. He was a nice guy, which I wasn't sure I was expected. He was the one who worked slightly in the porn industry, and posted a few pics of him & some porn stars now & then. I guess meeting a GnR fan who hangs out with porn stars in Vegas, well, I had my reservations about meeting up. Anyway he was telling me he basically did IT work, and used to work for a very corporate company in Texas somewhere (IBM type stuff). His old supervisor left to take the job in Vegas, it paid well & was very laid back. It wasn't really porn, they ran a website for porn casting calls & actresses for hire, as he called it, the "Monster.com" of porn. Makes sense I suppose. Anyway, he said every now & then they interacted with the porn girls at events & parties, but no he didn't "hang out with them". He did say they're all basically drug addicts & headcases with issues.
I wonder if he still even does that. It seemed more of an interim job than something he really loved. Anyway, funny, sometimes it almost seems like that didn't even happen...

It's interesting too though that almost everyone that still posts now, used to post back in ROV 8 years ago.
I remember registering on this forum as the first non staff member a day or so before the announcement came up about the new url. It's kind of strange I hadn't made that many posts relative to others since then, on the otherhand I'm probably in that top 7 of the most smited list. BBA chained smited me a bunch of times before his first banning of many hence why I turned off the feature years ago on my profile.
I guess it's a tie between BBA and Warchild on user with the most banned new personas front?
I miss DTJ's screencap game and arguing with James "Tobias" Loften.

In hindisight, my favorite time on the forum(ROV or Evo) was the Sqwerl leaks and the discussions about them for several weeks. I still say that those leaks and the forum discussion about them was a hundred times better than the album's release and its lukewarm reception on the fan sites. The album was the worst anticlimax in history.
