What the crap? At first I'd say there might be some issue with AFD not playing right unless you have a micro line stylus, but I played AFD a ton before getting mine and it played fine.
The only thing I can think is this: AFD is 180gram whereas UYI's and your old records are not, they're much thinner. Your tone arm could be hanging too low and touching the record, thus causing the skip. Does your tone arm have a counter weight on the opposite end from the stylus?

Surely to fuck two straight copies wouldn't be messed up.
