Is the deal they're giving him really THAT laughable that he can just walk away from it even though he knows he's crushing lots of fans hopes? This being what it is, you'd think they could just say "fuck it" to the business side of things and go out as brothers like they did when they started out.

Ozzy Osbourne Says Black Sabbath Have 15 Songs For A New Album

Ozzy Osbourne has revealed that the band have written fifteen new songs and suggests a new album will be out next year.
The band spoke to NME and admitted in his shambolic manner that the band have new material and are preparing a new album.
He said, “We’ve written about 15 songs so far, whether they’ll get on an album [I don't know]… You just keep on writing. I was trying to [work out]: where would we be now musically if we’d have stayed together?”
Rick Rubin has been working on the new music with the band and Ozzy chuckles, “Next year – 2013 – is a good clue of what we’ll call the album.”
Curiously, guitarist Tony Iommi says in the video “We’ve had ups and downs over the years, even feuds, and this that and the other. But it all sorts out, the friendship never goes away, whatever’s going on. If we’re suing each other, we’re still friends. It’s weird. This band is really strange like that.”
Of course, the interview didn’t feature drummer Bill Ward, who was excised from the band very publicly before their reunion shows.
Ozzy himself also insists that Sabbath “are a team”, again, despite Ward not being there for the show.

The Black Sabbath Download Setlist

Black Sabbath closed Download Festival last night in Donnington UK with many of the obvious songs but also left out some of the better-known ones.
For starters, the ‘Sabbath Bloody Sabbath’ album was completely overlooked and ‘Changes’ was also absent from the setlist.
The show opened with the first four tracks from their very first album, ‘Black Sabbath’ from 1970.
It also babbled into the lukewarm success of ‘Technical Ecstasy’ from 1976.
Black Sabbath played their warm-up show at hometown Birmingham last month.

Looks like things are going well with the recording of the album. Still very iffy since Ward still isn't on board at the moment. 
Looks like Tommy may be recording the drum parts. ugh. Some of the recording process is explained too.
