Matt will bend over for anybody. Unless you are John Bonham, drummers aren't calling any shots....Steven included. He is still a hired gun, sideman, and I don't care if he was a business partner in VR. He is no different in my eyes than any of Axl's orchestra.

Can't say I blame him.
I look at it like this...I've had jobs I hate. I found one I really like; boss is great, pay is great, team is great...why would I want to go back to being miserable? Why would I leave and even risk being miserable? I think that's where he is at, and I don't blame him a bit.

very true on both sides of the fence however...they made their millions then drifted apart, in the end, due to control issues.
Sad But True...huh, D. (in reference to your Lars mention-he is a definite exception as well). Since Page pretty much controlled Zep, Bonham actually had less power than Lars in Metallica. So, good call.
