So cool to hear what Izzy played along with Slash and Duffs kick ass Bass. On Izzy's track you still hear some of Slash's intro and solos. Izzy is playing through a Mesa and a ES125 guitar I think. We know what Slash plays.

Duff & Slash vids are really cool to listen to. It gives people a chance to get a better perspective on the work that went into the song.

yep! It shows how Izzy was so important to the dynamic of this record. Duff's bass parts in that video were mindblowing.

Question for all you real guitarists: could you tell from listening to the final mix which are the rhythm and lead parts? I was surprised at some of the parts Izzy was playing, so just curious.

Izzy's contributions to Jungle and Nightrain are some of my favorite licks on Appetite. Nice find.

I didn't know Izzy did all those parts when I heard them. I thought most of it was Slash and Izzy just doing rhythm on the solos.

yeah most of the time...and if there is any doubt you can look at the sheet music then you can tell, alot of times there is fills and stuff too that is layered on top that they may not do in a live setting
